One key, one format, data from up to 200 sources. For your software and for your AI.Why Sugra API#
Companies and developers need data every day: the economy, markets and companies, exchange rates, weather, transport, company checks, news and research. Sources differ in their sites, formats, rules and access requirements: some are open, many ask for their own sign-up and key, and every source you connect is an integration to maintain.Sugra API puts them behind one key and one format. You build your product instead of building the data layer from scratch, and the people who use your software do not have to register a separate key with each source that asks for one. What Sugra API is#
Sugra API is one account for up to 200 sources, more than 35 data domains and 1,600+ endpoints, and the numbers keep growing. Most of the sources are primary: central banks, statistical offices, regulators, international organizations and academic projects. The rest are commercial feeds served under Sugra-branded names. It is organized into seven directions:| Direction | What it covers |
|---|
| Sugra Finance | Markets and companies, exchange rates, commodities and crypto |
| Sugra Macro | The economy: central banks, statistical offices, trade |
| Sugra Entity | Company checks and sanctions lists |
| Sugra NetAtlas | The internet and its networks |
| Sugra News | Curated news feeds and world events |
| Sugra Earth | Weather, climate, disasters, energy and transport |
| Sugra Research | Papers and long-run statistics |
Where a primary source publishes a number, Sugra takes it from that source, not from a page that retells it. Every data endpoint answers in the same envelope: the result under data, and under meta the source and, when the source states it, the time of the data.Made for AI as well#
On its own, an AI model knows only a snapshot of the data it was trained on. Ask it for the latest unemployment rate, the price of a stock or today's weather, and it has nothing current of its own. Web search helps only in part: it wanders from site to site, and the answer is built from whatever it found along the way. For a precise answer, AI needs a reliable source.Sugra API is built for that too. Its MCP server lets an AI assistant or agent find the right endpoint for a question asked in plain words and call it, and every answer tells the AI where the number came from. The Sugra API MCP server is listed in the official plugins and skills directories of Anthropic and OpenAI, and the Sugra API Skills teach an agent where to look, how to call and how to cite. How to connect#
From your own code, call the API with one key. The Quickstart takes a few minutes. In Claude or ChatGPT, add Sugra from the directory and sign in once: Add to Claude, Add to ChatGPT. The Personal quickstart covers the plan made for working in an assistant. Another assistant that supports remote MCP servers connects to the same server, as the MCP page shows. In your own agent, point it at the MCP server and add the skills: MCP and Ecosystem. One account, every direction. Every plan gets the full endpoint catalog, and plans differ in daily request volume (Plans and billing). Why you can rely on it#
More than half of the sources are government bodies, regulators and central banks. The others are international organizations, academic and non-profit projects, and commercial feeds served under Sugra-branded names.
Every answer names its source and, when the source states it, the time of the data.
